Posting...

Okay, so I've started several different entries since EK was born. It's hard. I go back & forth - do I vent too much? Do I talk about LJ too much? Really I want there to be balance, but while my peace remains, my rejoicing is quickly doused by reality. I've had some amazing moments with LJ, but they get lost quickly into the next meltdown. I barely have time to savor them. (And if my keyboard doesn't quit jumping to other areas of the paragraph, I'm going to scream; I can't figure out why it does that!)

Our new favorite book is called "The Jesus Storybook Bible". This came recommended to me by basically my whole church. I love my church. It is always a bright spot in my life. LJ LOVES his new book. It fascinates him, which in turn fascinates me. He could sit there for hours & listen to me read the book. And reading is not one of his favorite things. I've wondered why this is, because I LOVE to read. But he has struggled. I am just recently wondering if it's because there is too much on the page. That idea came out of his speech evaluation a couple of weeks ago. It is fabulous because all of the old testament stories are told in "toddler language" but foreshadow Christ coming by calling it "God's Rescue Plan". The illustrations are great too - both LJ & JD want to see the next picture before I'm done reading.

Well, on to work, work, and laundry.
